We were formed in February
2004 due to the increases in service charges, since then we have been able to help numerous residents with problems and queries
ranging from contact details to helping with much needed estate improvements.
Funding for our organisation
has come from many routes, residents pay £2 per year to help fund producing the minutes, and residents have also made other
donation towards other costs. Our fundays have not only raised money for our Residents Association but also local charities
such as Operation Happy Child (children’s Charity started up by British Airways engineers) and others.
Our
aims are simple, we would like to help residents get the most out of where they live, this we do by helping residents with
problems and informing those of avenues they can use as well as helping to build a community spirit so residents are proud
of where they live and who they share their estate with.
